That setup is still legit? I Understand the diff between a GPU and A CPU. But why do you tell me to keep that specifically in mind? Like I those GPU's aren't good enough, or I need to pick a different one? Or a different CPU?
Hey man I really appreciate it. I bet i'm the only one who's building a PC right now specifically because all I want to do is play Borderlands 2!! ROFL
Like I know that it's now a monster of a game or anything, and I AM shooting for playing other high end stuff, but honestly I haven't been this excited about a game releasing since RAGE came out and I hated myself for a week after i bought it!
Seriously though. Invitation sent on Steam, posted on your wall in your comm page. Should be good to go. I have school today too from 2-4pm PST so maybe we can talk some after that?
Thanks again for everyone's time and help
here is what I had been toying with last year: Looking to see if i can get any more bang for my buck there- But you have me thinking a bit about what you said- maybe it's time to go back to AMD and give them a chance. It certainly won't be any worse than this god damn alienware laptop i have right now...fucking spaceheater....

Looking to build something, but i haven't done any research since last year, so I'm a little behind on the tech and whatnot.I was thinking something around 750-900$ Nvidia/Intel built to kick ass, I'd really like to go with an Intel build for quality and whatnot, but I'd also like to price out a SSHD apart from the whole thing, just don't know where the deals are.If some one can help me price parts/compare quality, I'd really appreciate it. I don't know a whole lot, but I'm sure you guys know more :)Thanks for your time
Nigel my good fellow, I already done pre-ordered it!! I will be down to play though when it comes out! Also gotta build a new computer(unrelated to Borderlands news), but not looking forward to the research on parts ect
from what i've been able to figure out, your whole live account will be bannned, and your box will brick for online play if they update the firmware and it detects that you have chips/flashed. Some people have said as much as just browsing arcade, or movies with a Xblive silver account will get the box bricked. I wasn't sure. So i went to ask where the pirates be
I guess it's not really worth it it if I just want to play a few specific games online.
I mean i only really want to play some Borderlands 2.
Q: Where does one get a year of Xblive for 30$ Last i knew it was about double that for a year?
Computer is shitting out on me for any new releases, going to be a bit before I can upgrade sadly. In the meantime I was thinking about getting a 360 to play around with. I used to have a chipped original xbox, and it was sorta fun. I started looking into the scene for the 360 and all I see are these warnings about getting banned from Xblive if you modify anything. I don't really like live and the whole "paying" for internet stupidity, but I do like to play online some of the time. Here are some specific questions:1.Is it hard to download games and then burn them to a dvd or whatever and play as usual?2.Is flashed/chipped worth it just for the single player?3. Any way around these live bans?4. How much larger are these games? Do I just need an additional external to keep 360 games on and just swap them back n forth?5. Should I just get a normal console and not worry about all this in the first place? I can get one really cheap, I just remember how cool my original box was. Thanks for your time!
i have adblocker and scriptblocker! I'm good mostly on ads, it's just when my 30+ song playlist plays it sometimes fucking snaps to an ad after a song, or I'll go to play a video and randomly get some ad before it starts until I refresh the page enough. I guess I should double check my filters or something
I am but a simple geologist, I run some firefox, but I'm not so savvy about adblockers. :(For example how would one go about just blocking the commercials I always fuck it up and end up blocking the flash player completely, then i has to reset my filters, admit I suck and sit through another gay geico commercial
