So i think it's worth it in that regard. * Also downgraded to 1TB HD, you can always buy an external to store all your files, (your gfx shit and what not)

Oh hey hey hey~! I didn't even think of this! We can combine the GPU of 580 and this will be better then the 680. Good idea. Also I agree on the Hard Drive 2 TB is massive I have plenty of external Hard Drives to store my Data. Considering the Equipment the Price will be well worth it. I can always upgrade in the future but wont have to for a LONG time.

Sorry to hear that! I would have been so pissed. The only way to replace that is to get a new one huh! Could you get money back or anything??? Absolutely Don't intend on zapping anything, I have a rug in my room which I will be folding up and putting away when building haha! Thanks for the heads up though!

yeah deffs GTX680, 7970 isnt to bad either but personally i like physX so the EVGA Superclocked 680 is the one to go for, JUST ONE THOUGH. your pretty crazy to need 2 in todays day and age, just go with 1.. and in 6-12months, get another at 1/2-1/4 of the price when performance starts to slim in newer games!Edit: static wrist gaurds YES if your working on carpet.Edit 2: 12gb of ram is the sweetspot nowdays, 16gb if you do alot of photoshopping etc.. but 12 is basically perfect, heck youd get away with 8.. but personally, go for 12 min.

total - $2,156.92

Only 156$ off, but considering 680's are pretty hard to get right now, and if you put two 580's together they're going to blow the 680 out of the water anyways. So i think it's worth it in that regard.

This RAM cuz its 16GB, quad channel, 1600MHz, 8 CAS Latency

EDIT: Nevermind, I see parts were ordered and I misread the previous RAM, Due to the description box on Newegg saying dual-channel.

As the next upgrade you may want to consider getting an SSD as it would significantly speed up loading times and the OS in general.
